MENDOCINO REPUBLIC ENACTS
LANDMARK FOUNDATION LAW
PERSONS AND ENTITIES ACT (MPEA)
CAPITAL CITY, MENDOCINO REPUBLIC – Pursuant to the sovereign legislative authority of the Mendocino Republic, the Mendocino Republic Persons and Entities Act (MPEA), Chapter 700 is hereby enacted and enters into full force as of December 14, 2025.
PRIVATE INTEREST FOUNDATIONS ACT
This landmark legislation establishes a modern, secure, and confidential legal framework for the creation and governance of Private Interest Foundations within our jurisdiction, representing a significant advancement in sovereign financial architecture.
KEY LEGAL FEATURES OF THE MPEA
Separate Legal Entity
Foundations are established as self-owning legal entities for asset management and succession planning.
Dual-Document System
Public Foundation Charters for registration, with confidential Private Regulations for internal governance.
Asset Protection
Clear statutory shields protecting foundation assets from unrelated personal liabilities.
Professional Oversight
Mandatory involvement of a Qualified Mendocino Professional on every Foundation Council.
Confidentiality Guaranteed
Private Regulations and beneficiary details remain confidential and are not publicly filed.
Modern Registry
New Office of the Registrar of Foundations established for efficient, discreet administration.
INAUGURAL FOUNDATION REGISTERED
Mendocino Republic Registrar Foundation
Coincident with this Act taking force, the Mendocino Republic Registrar Foundation (Registration No. MRRF-2023-001) has been duly entered into the Public Ledger as the inaugural foundation under the new regime.
